This young female who presents after a gastric sleeve in 2017 and has lost approximately 100 lbs is unhappy with the excessive amount of skin on her arms. Due to her major weightloss journey she is embarrassed to wear short sleeves or sleeveless clothing where her arms are exposed. Through further consultation with Dr. Smita, this patient, decided to proceed with the arm lift procedure.
During the procedure, Dr. Smita was able to surgically remove the excess skin from the patient’s arm creating a more defined and tighter appearance. After the procedure, the patient’s recovery went smoothly. She experienced little to no pain. The patient was instructed to wear compression garments to aid during the healing process this way she receives the best results. Patient was very happy with the results. She is now more confident in the appearance of her arms and is now comfortable enough to wear tops where her arms are exposed.
