Hydrafacial is a comprehensive treatment that incorporates cleansing the skin with both a physical and chemical peel. Hydrafacial offers pain-free extractions while it nourishes and detoxifies the skin. Hydrafacial is a unique treatment that incorporates lymphatic drainage to detoxify and reduce inflammation, a chemical and physical peel, and gentle extractions with nourishing and hydrating serums.

With Hydrafacial we can also incorporate blue or red LED treatment depending on your skin condition. There is no other treatment that will give you such a comprehensive result while enjoying a relaxing facial!

What are the Hydrafacial Pre-Care and Post-Care Instructions?

Hydrafacial is a non-invasive personalized treatment that cleanses and exfoliates your skin leaving you with clearer, brighter, and younger-looking skin with absolutely no discomfort or downtime. Listed are pre and post- care instructions.


Hydrafacial Pre- Care Instructions:

  • Please avoid excessive sun exposure, including tanning bed for one week prior to your Hydrafacial treatment. Make sure to use a broad spectrum SPF of 30+ daily to ensure protection against UVA and UVB rays.
  • Do not use any type of AHA or BHA exfoliants two days prior to your Hydrafacial treatment.
  • Stop the use of Tretinoin, Retinol, Retin-A, or any other vitamin A derivative products at least two days before treatment.
  • Refrain from any laser or chemical peel treatments or at least two weeks prior to your Hydrafacial treatment.
  • Discontinue the use of Hydroquinone two to three before treatment.
  • If you have developed a cold sore, acne, open lesions, or are experiencing any type of illness please contact the office before receiving a Hydrafacial treatment.

Hydrafacial Post- Care Instructions:

  • Refrain from exfoliating the treated area for 48 hours post Hydrafacial treatment.
  • Please keep the area treated clean to insure this, avoid heat sources including hot showers, saunas, and cardio workouts that way produce sweat for 24 hours post treatment.
  • You may wash your face the following morning using the skincare regimen recommended by our Licensed Esthetician.
  • Do not use Tretinoin, Retinol, Retin-A, or any other vitamin A derivative products at least two days after treatment.
  • Avoid unprotected sun exposure, including use of tanning beds for at least three day post- Hydrafacial treatment.
  • Always use a broad spectrum sunscreen of SPF 30+ daily after treatment.

Can I perform a Hydrafacial with Injectables?

Hydrafacial is the perfect treatment to pair with and neurotoxin or hyaluronic acid filler injections.

If you would like to get a Hydrafacial done the same day as a neurotoxin or hyaluronic acid filler treatment, the Hydrafacial treatment would have to be performed prior to any injectable treatments.

If you have already received a neurotoxin or filler treatment then the recommended wait time for a Hydrafacial treatment is five days after neurotoxin injections and two weeks after for any other filler or injectable treatments.

How often should I receive a Hydrafacial treatment?

Hydrafacial is safe skin care therapy treatment that works gently on all skin types in addressing various skin concerns.

Hydrafacial helps cleanses the skin of the free radicals, impurities, and pollution of our everyday life. It is very beneficial to receive a Hydrfacial treatment regularly to maintain your skin and achieve the best possible results.

Nikole has been with SR Plastic Surgery for over two years and is the practice’s Licensed Esthetician. She has been in the aesthetics and plastic surgery industry for over 4 years with experience in front desk management, medical assisting, Coolsculpting, and skincare.

She attended Innovate Salon Academy and completed the 600-hour and all NJ Esthetician license requirements. Nikole’s passion for skin care and skin care education is what encouraged her to become an Esthetician. Nikole has multiple skin treatment certifications: Skinpen Precision microneedling, Chemical peels, Microdermabrasion, and Hydrafacial.

Nikole is always expanding her skin care education to consistently be up to date with all the latest skincare studies, treatments, and devices. Nikole’s main goal for every person that she treats is for them to relax, learn, and love the skin they are in.
