This 49-year-old-female patient wanted to reduce the fullness beneath her chin and improve the overall contour of her neck. She was also looking to smooth the lines on her neck — a common issue that is usually referred to as neck banding. Neck bands are generally caused by aging and a loss of skin elasticity.
To address the overall fullness beneath the chin, we first performed chin liposuction. This highly effective procedure literally removes excess fat from the area. Next, the patient opted for filler as well as Botox, both of which helped to soften the appearance of the lines on her neck.
