This 38-year-old male patient was unhappy with the appearance of his double chin and the overall fullness beneath his neck. He felt that, despite a healthy lifestyle and regular exercise, he was unable to improve the appearance of this particular area of his face.
To correct the fullness under his neck, we performed double chin liposuction. This procedure requires small incisions that are hardly noticeable after healing. Through the incisions, Dr. Smita inserts a small tube called a cannula, and the cannula suctions out unwanted fat. Each incision is then carefully closed, and the result is a more-defined chin and neckline.
