A Useful Brow Lift Cost Breakdown

A Useful Brow Lift Cost Breakdown

Interested in getting a brow lift but concerned about brow lift cost? Some individuals may steer clear of plastic surgery because they fear the procedures they want will be too expensive.

And while certain procedures can certainly come with a significant price tag, brow lift surgery costs are not unreasonable, especially given the amazing improvements they can create in both your appearance and your self-confidence.

How Much Does a Brow Lift Cost?

Even estimating an average brow lift cost can be difficult without first meeting with you as a patient. This is why we’ve provided a cost breakdown for brow lift surgery later on in this article.

While we’d love to give you a rough cost estimate that can apply to everyone, that’s simply not possible. We can, however, go over the main cost factors at play.

Board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Smita Ramanadham performs brow lift surgery at her New Jersey practice. She can certainly give you a price quote for this surgery, but she’ll need to meet one on one with you at a consultation appointment first.

Here’s what you can expect at this appointment.

Brow Lift Consultation Appointments

At consultation appointments, plastic surgeons can assess patients physically to see what concerns they have and where improvements can be made. A key influential factor in determining the cost of brow lift surgery is the extent of surgery required. This will determine the type of brow lift that is performed and how long the operation should be.

There are three types of brow lift surgery: endoscopic brow lift surgery, temporal brow lift surgery, and coronal brow lift surgery (a fourth type of brow lift called direct brow lift surgery is rarely used). Search through brow lift before and after photos to see examples of the different types.

The type of brow lift surgery you need will be determined at your consultation appointment in most cases. Your surgeon will go over the details of your proposed procedure, including what to expect during brow lift recovery.

Furthermore, your surgeon will go over your medical history with you, talk to you about any medical conditions or concerns you may have, discuss your desired outcomes, answer your questions, and make recommendations on the best course of action for your needs.

Brow Lift Cost Breakdown

Endoscopic Brow Lift CostA brow lift (also known as a forehead lift) is a cosmetic procedure that is suitable for patients with moderate to severe signs of aging on their forehead and brow line. Sagging eyebrows and forehead wrinkles are both typical signs that brow lift surgery can help create a more youthful appearance.

Of course, an eyebrow lift is a significant surgery. Incisions are required and at least local anesthesia. Excess skin often needs to be removed, and the underlying tissues will be adjusted. Brow lift results can take several months to be fully revealed.

In other words, this is an invasive surgery that may require special financing to pay for. Below, we’ll go over the main factors that will ultimately impact the final cost of your brow lift surgical procedure.

Type of Brow Lift

Again, there are three main types of brow lifts. Each one requires a different technique and other variations of care, which means pricing will vary as well.

Facility Fees

All surgical facilities and hospitals charge their own fees for use of their operating rooms, recovery rooms, staff, equipment, tools, supplies, etc.

Surgeon’s Fees

The surgeon’s fee is the amount payable to your particular surgeon. While some patients make the mistake of thinking that this is the total cost for surgery, it’s actually only a portion of the final cost.

Of course, other costs will come into play as well. But for the majority of cosmetic procedures, the surgeon’s fee is the largest portion of the overall price.

Anesthesia

Brow lift surgery will require either general anesthesia or local anesthesia with sedation. You’ll need to pay an anesthesiologist to administer your required type of anesthesia as well as monitor you throughout your procedure.

Recovery Costs

Finally, pain medications, recovery items, bandages, meal delivery and grocery delivery services, and other incidentals may add to the final cost of surgery.

FAQ: Brow Lift Surgery

Will insurance pay for brow lifts?

No, health insurance does not typically cover cosmetic surgery procedures.

How much does an endoscopic brow lift cost?

Please schedule a consultation appointment to get a price quote on endoscopic brow lift surgery.

How much Does a Botox brow lift cost?

Please schedule a consultation appointment to get a price quote on Botox brow lift procedure.

Will I have brow lift scars?

Yes, brow lift scars are an inevitable part of brow lift surgery. Only a non surgical brow lift (Botox brow lift surgery) does not result in significant scarring. Fortunately, brow lift incisions are made within the hairline, so for nearly all patients, these incision lines will be well hidden by the hair once they’ve healed.

Do I need a brow lift or eyelid surgery?

This depends on what your main concerns are. Brow lifts can help lift the upper eyelids while significantly improving deep forehead lines and wrinkles and raising the brow line. On the other hand, an eyelid lift only corrects the upper eyelid area.

Facelift and neck lift procedures are two other options for restoring youth and improving facial appearance through surgery.
